People stop following each other on Twitter every two seconds. That is nothing to worry about for individual users, specially if we take into account that the amount of information one has when he starts following this or that Twitterer is not that encompassing to begin with. You start following someone without him accepting or declining, and when you get bored you stop following him. It is as simple as that, and for the vast majority of users it is nothing to worry about. That is probably the reason why an e-mail notifying you that a person has stopped following you is not sent out.  Conversely, if you are promoting a brand on Twitter and people begin unfollowing you massively you will most likely want to be informed about it in order to try and rectify the situation. A dwindling number of followers not only means that your product is being marketed wrongly, it actually gives a bad image of your brand since mot people equate a big number of followers with prestige and vice versa.  This service aims to let you take care of all that by sending out a notification when someone has stopped following you. It is as simple as that. You sign in with your Twitter screen name and password and provide an email, and from that point onwards you will be notified on the spot when someone deserts you.
