TwittX Client Description & Details
TwittX simplifies Twitter by making most confusing features of twitter easily accessible and manages your updates, direct messages, favorites, mention (i.e @Replys), and more. This is a desktop client that will run in the system trey so it doesn’t take up space on your task bar. Before I continue on with the description of TwittX I would like to introduce the main user time line screen shot to give you a better understanding of the client.
TwittX has many option available to you without having to dig through tons of pages to find the tools / information you need. I have placed the main time line right click menu screen shot below to give you a quick look into TwittX’s great features.
To give you an idea of what a TwittX Twitter profile looks like view below. Remember you can view anyone’s profile via right click menu in TwittX and there are some nifty actions you can run on each profile.
Now don’t think we forgot about your profile! We have built-in a great profile editing area that shows all your current settings and profile images. TwittX currently does not have HTML color codes built – in but you can download them here or wait for the update on May 5 2009.
I would like to add a note on one of TwittX cool features. TwittX offers you the ability to search locally through your home updates, favorites, direct messages, @replys, and more. This will help you when you need to find a specific tweet or just want to view updates from one user. Very great feature! We use it almost every session and it will only get better as we progress.
