An interview with Marcomé,
Marcomé is a Canadian female vocalist who composes, produces and engineers all of her own blend of New Age and world music creating a New World music genre in the process. Marcomé blends lyrics with a wordless language that creates a soothing and ethereal world. Marcomé is a master at blending the many different sounds of her voice in order to create vocal harmonies that are richly textured.Marcomé incorporates dreamy keyboards, fretless bass, jazzy guitar riffs, traditional world beat percussions and instruments, while layering her ethereal voice into her compositions. Presently, quality New Age music is making a strong resurgence in global popularity; as music lovers are searching for a type of uplifting, spiritual music that is a companion for their everyday lives.
TM: How long have you been on Twitter?
M: I joined in 2008 but really started tweeting since January 2009

TM: What made you sign up to Twitter?
M: the energy and vibes that was coming out of it seemed to be different and it is! I wrote a short article about Twitter in my New Age Music Blog http://www.marcome.com/blog/humans-twitter/
TM: How often do you ‘Tweet’?
M: I’m on Twitter every day!
TM: How has Twitter been beneficial to you as a singer?
M: not only as a singer but as a human being looking for kindred spirits!
TM: If you had to recommend one person that your fans should follow on Twitter, who would it be and why?
M: well it depends on your tastes: if you’re geeky and trendy I would recommend @Zaibatsu and @Applemacbookpro (they are helping and generous!), if you’re concerned with Eco Green matters @EnviroGraffiti and @Stephhicks and if you’re into Motivational and inspiring Quotes I would suggest @Eleesha and @LoriMoreno to name a few! I could go on to cover a wide range of interests! Music, golf, homes, travels, economy, science, fun, it’s all up there!
TM: Have you had real friends from Twitter?
M: Yes! If you had told me years ago that I would skype, chat, tweet, exchange on the phone and create with worldwide people, I would have doubt it! but this is real! The beauty is that you are connected to people from everywhere. I have friends in UK, US, Germany, Japan, Europe, Brazil, Holland….etc.
TM: Can you give a specific example of how Twitter has made a difference to your life as a singer?
M: Twitter allowed me to be online as I am in life. As an Indie Artist I can now have access to a pool of people interested in music and self growth. I blog every week and I’ve never had so many interesting conversations on the web. I love twitter! http://www.marcome.com/blog/humans-twitter/
TM: How do you see your use of Twitter evolving in the future, if at all?
M: I hope it’s going to stay simple as it is now for it’s the simplest and funniest way I’ve been online since myspace.
