Only in Burbank. The Price is Right host Drew Carey took to Twitter after a Seattle Sounders win on October 3 (I know, I know, who? Evidently, they’re a soccer team…and evidently, Carey’s part owner) to share his joy, whereupon he discovered that the Twitter name @Drew was being auctioned off.
It was being auctioned off by Drew Olanoff, a blogger who has battled cancer. He got the idea to auction off his username, with proceeds to be sent to the LiveStrong Foundation. “I thought it was so much fun that I bid $25,000,” Carey explained to CNN. “I was in such a good mood that I raised it to $100,000.” >>>> Continue reading here
